TTRPG

(Table Top Role Play)

Most of my current narrative project experience comes from table top role playing games. I love learning game engines and finding new ways to tell stories utilizing TTRPG as a foundation. Platforms that challenge players and audiences to think outside the box during improvisation and puzzle-solving are the stories that I gravitate towards as a player and audience member.

Experienced Platforms: Dungeons and Dragons 5e, D&D Beyond

Experienced Campaign Settings: Tal’Dorei Reborn

Currently Learning: Candela Obscura

Dungeons and Dragons

  • Emerald of Spring: A D&D One Shot

A group of rag tag newbies are tasked with stealing the fabled Emerald of Spring from the spring court gala. When they discover the jewel is missing and it is on the crown of the queen in the middle of a massive ballroom, chaos ensues. I played as Mae Blackthorn. A barbarian earth genasi whose big hair holds her big personality and love of boy bands.

This one-shot ran for 5 hours.

DM’d by Ben Philipart and featured on the @CollegeofRoll YouTube channel in the video “Thorne.exe a.k.a Trandor: Chaos PC”

  • The S.K.O.T.S: A Scottish D&D Mini Campaign

In Edinburgh, Scotland, a group of Scottish fae creatures protect the veil between worlds guarded by The S.K.O.T.S, an ancient organization dedicated to protecting the creatures of Scotland from evil forces who seek to destory them. I played Iona Sunseeker, a barbarian halfling single mom who runs a Scottish tourist trap store by day and kicks arse by night.

This campaign lasted 2 months and was completed in Edinburgh and St. Andrews, Scotland.

DM’d by Sydney Shelton with Homebrew Elements by Colin McCaffery
